Intaction.org met with NYC Council Member Diana Reyna in Manhattan today.
Diana Reyna represents a dynamic NYC community stretching from Williamsburg and Bushwick in Brooklyn to Ridgewood, Queens. Since 2002, Council Member Reyna has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to her community through government service and advocacy. Reyna has continued to lead the fight for overall increases of city resources on behalf of the minority and middle class citizens throughout the 34th District.Council Member Reyna is committed to education, and is a firm advocate for human rights. Reyna was first woman of Dominican descent elected to office in New York State.
During the meeting, the Council Member was given samples of Intaction’s educational materials designed for the Latino community.
