Whether passed down by family or friends, pressure by doctors, or by religious indoctrination, genital cutting was almost never questioned. Yet we never considered the impact of these actions on babies, or the adults they become. For whatever reason, you are now asking the question: Why are we doing this to children?

You are someone who has strong feelings about expressing your individuality. You believe people should NOT be forced into conformity at birth. It’s your life to live and your life to enjoy, no one else’s.  Babies are entitled to live their life with intact bodies and your committed to seeing that happen.

Buckminster Fuller said it best: “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” It’s time to stop asking the doctors, the journalists, & the academics to change their mind.
